code.doublerebel is launched! jQuery plugins and PHP scripts, for now, all free/open-source under various licenses, mostly MIT, GPL, & WTFPL. Demos and API docs are in the works, but the interface is functional. IE6 (and possibly IE7) users won't get the pretty fades yet, thanks to the opacity-applied-to-an-img-element-with-alphaimageloader-forces-fake-index-color bug. jQuery lets me write code for every other browser but to make IE6 look the same always requires adding 5+ lines of CSS and JS each. Oh, IE6 and your persistent 35 - 50% market share.

As my first conscious exercise in agile programming, I'll be adding more site functionality within every 24 hours. I"ve hit my first goal of matching graphics, full Firefox/Opera/IE/Safari compatibility, including this custom Pivot frontpage.

There's a lot going on, and a lot of news to come. Quite excited!

Hello all,

A quick note on my lunch: the blog has launched. Finally, a place for plugin announcements, discussions, technology ponderings, and design inspirations. (Yes, and the long-overdue SuperFlyDOM updates.)

If you're reading this as a single entry, you may have noticed the default Pivot template. Pivot is great software but it takes a little massaging to fully AJAX & template it. I'm launching early because I made some low-level code changes that made it difficult to maintain 2 separate versions -- therefore whois.doublerebel.com will be light on graphics until tonight.
