Google Android will run on my Kaiser!

14 11 07 - 15:29 Ok, my suspicions have been officially confirmed: There is a gPhone, and it's in my pocket! And very likely your pocket as well!

1st Step to the gPhone:

I have been closely following the Android list over at gGroups, and the Linux Kernel for the MSM7K family has been located. The MSM7200 is what powers many of the current HTC devices, including my Kaiser (AT&T Tilt). There has been a lot of speculation over when the 'gPhone' will be released. These speculators are all missing the point: Android was bought in 2005 by Google, and they've obviously had a working gPhone model for at least a quarter or two (we've all seen the videos). The gPhone is all over the world, just waiting for Android to kick that old prude Windows Mobile out of town.

P.S. To HTC: I see your Seattle Interactive Design postings, which coincide with the Android launch timing... Hire me!!
